We're Not Good Enough for Real Plates?

Oh so good, BUT why were we the only ones that received paper plates while EVERYONE ELSE got real plates? We dined-in, and she came out with our pizza and handed us paper plates. It would not have been a problem until we noticed that everyone else dining in received regular plates. We're not good enough for REAL plates? Very awkward even though awkward is not the correct word for this situation.
